Hello:) I've uploaded screencaps of season 2 to my website, there are a couple of hundred pictures from each episode in .rar files, and some sample pics on that page.

So I thought I would picspam just slightly. Mostly because I'm so in love with Cody today that it is impossible to do anything else. These are mostly from season 2, a few from season 1.

I'm not trying to claim that Cody leans on stuff necessarily more than most other people, that he lacks balance or poise, or is slightly weak from being so beautiful, and has to rest himself in the middle, or that he is lazy and rebelling against his army training, or that living with Nick and Murray somehow makes his legs weak, or that he is a huge slut who knows how good he looks on an angle and uses that to cause his boyfriends confusion and lust at every opportunity, or any of that. Just that he leans on stuff well; it's a celebration, not an accusation. Yes.

Let's get this out of the way right now first and foremost, this is Cody Allen leaning against his truck in ABSOLUTELY THE MOST DELIGHTFUL WAY POSSIBLE:



IS THERE A SINGLE THING NOT PERFECT ABOUT THAT JUMPER? Look at all the creasing it is doing, it is the best creasing, the best. It is carefully showing us his belt buckle in a strangely alluring way, and making sure not to cover up his forearms because that would be a crime. That jumper is going above and beyond jumperly duties.

Nick maintains a steady level of studied oblivion about his boyfriend's fantastic leaning:

Sometimes he surpasses "too beautiful to look at" and becomes "entirely incomprehensible to the human eye" and you have to go away for a few minutes and calm down because oh my god:



Sometimes he combines "being Cody Allen" with "being in prison" and with "leaning on stuff" all at the same time. He is beauty cubed:





Sometimes he leans on stuff with or near Murray. I'm not sure he should, Murray is not as strong as Nick, but he holds up well and probably Cody would stop if he actually started cardiac arrest or anything:






His love for Murray even inspires Cody to this piece of EXTREME LEANING:



Sometimes he's not so much leaning as . . . sitting or lying down. But he does that REALLY WELL TOO, and he has the sort of SPIRIT of leaning and laksdjlfksdjflsdf, PICTURES ANYWAY:

Sometimes he's not really leaning but you could pretend he was because otherwise I wouldn't have a reason to post these and the third one is *POSSIBLY* my favourite picture of Cody in the world for the next five seconds at least:





This happens, and it's a sort of leaning, sort of. My mind goes to a happy place. A place where Nick is just out of shot opening up the lube. I love how Murray is paying no attention to them at all:



And sometimes he is just leaning for the LOVE of leaning:











And sometimes Nick does the nicest bits of leaning imaginable and infiltrates Cody's picspam just quickly at the end. Oh, his all italian hospital leaning in the second one blows me away:




That last one isn't Cody and isn't really leaning. But I love it. So whatever:)

This is AWESOME. Just massive amounts of awesome. Now that you mention it, he does lean over quite a bit. And yes, it is freaking adorable and says quite a lot about his character, I think.

::grins lots:: Glad you enjoyed:):):):):) I found most of them last night because I couldn't sleep and looking at pictures of Cody was a better way to not sleep than just staring at the walls.

I love his leaning so much, it gets a bit hilarious when you realise how easy it is to find pictures of. I think some of it probably just comes from living on a boat, perhaps you get used to sort of propping yourself up a lot. Nick probably leans on stuff nearly as much, I just don't notice it as much because he's not Cody.

I don't know if it's from living on a boat as much as it is, as you so rightly point out, living near Nick. Breathing near Nick, needing to have Nick within arm's reach (preferably closer) at all times.

I love your comments on the jumper, btw. That jumper was doing its bit to show off the leanitude (oh yes, I just made that up for the occasion), and the Butch Blond Leaner With Firearm on Boyfriend's Classic Car cap needs to be printed and framed, IMO.

Nick probably leans on stuff nearly as much, I just don't notice it as much because he's not Cody.

I always notice Nick standing very planted, if that makes sense. The stance with feet wide and arms folded across his chest, solid and listening and ready for anything, especially once Cody gets the lube open. Uh...what were we talking about?

It would be interesting, I think to spend some time contrasting Nick and Cody's propensity to lean, or, and this might be more time-efficient, what with only 24 hours in the day, looking at the eps where Cody's Nickless, and seeing if he does more standing up.

Either way, total excuse for ep-watching, cap-scanning and uncontrollable drooling.

I think I love his sort of heavier knit white jumper very slightly more than his nazi fighting jumper, but it's a close run thing, and the nazi-fighting jumper totally gets more leanitude points. It puts its HEART into it.

And OH GOD, the lying across Nick's bonnet thing! With a gun! CODY. When in public I think you're meant to at least keep up a pretence of not being the gayest thing in the entire universe, and you're totally not supposed to distract your boyfriend that much in the middle of a gunfight. Perhaps he used to be a male model. Perhaps before Vietnam when he dropped out of college. It might explain some of the constant casual posing.

I don't know if he'll lean less when he's not with Nick, because some of the time then he is sort of pining, and leaning moodily against things in a bit of a decline. But yes, it would be interesting to find out. And to catalogue his different leaning styles and see if they change according to who is near and how long it had been since he touched Nick. That would definitely be Important Science.

You're totally right; I can't believe it took all of these wonderful pictures to make me see it. (Doesn't jekesta rule?) Nick does the wide stance, stable thing, and Cody does the crossed ankles casual leaning thing, and they totally balance out. (Murray does neither; he needs to be held onto or he'll drift away.)

Yeah, this is amazing stuff. Nick's the rock, and Cody's just that little bit less stable, that little bit less upright.

Maybe it's more a feeling than anything that can be captured in pictures, but I think about it a lot. Nick and Cody touch each other, but they hold onto Murray. Someone's always picking him up or holding his wrist, and they always have a hand on his shoulder. Like he's going to get distracted and either lose his train of thought, or maybe just wander off. Sometimes it's drifting, sometimes it's bouncing, and sometimes he just flies away.

I definitely think about this too much. :)

No, yes, I love this I mean. I think it's true. Murray generally sits, actually, it feels like. Often because he's at a computer, but it comes across as though he needs grounding, so they tend to put him places. Man, I love the way they touch Murray. Yeah, I love the way they touch everything and everyone, but . . . you know.

Yes, grounding, exactly. He does sit a lot, either computing or observing (I love how he sits in the cargo doorwas of the Mimi and swings his legs while the guys are working on her), and they lean over him and touch him, like he needs to know they're there. It's so very caring, and slashable, but it doesn't have to be.

Not like Nick and Cody. That's all slash, all the time. :)

That second example of Cody leaning (against the Jimmy, with Murray nearby)? It's possible that those two pics fried my brain, just a little. You see, not only is he wearing the delicious white jumper, he is also wearing his sexy grey jeans. That is my absolute favourite combination of all the stuff we see Cody wearing. He should have been dressed like that in every episode. (It's not even funny how obsessed I am with Cody's clothes.)

There goes the rest of my day... Higher brain functions have been suspended until I get the image of Cody (White jumper! Grey jeans! Leaning against stuff!) out of my head. *g*

OH MY GOD I KNOW. That whole scene is just dangerous to look at. As well as wearing ALL HIS BEST CLOTHES, and leaning like a pro, he's slightly exhausted inside and looks all . . . the only word that's coming to mind is fuckable.

I began thinking I would just put together a few pictures of my favourite bits of Cody leaning, but pictures of Cody leaning on stuff are so easy to find, it kind of grew out of all control, and then I couldn't resist sharing it all.

Considering how very much Cody leans on stuff they must be having a LOT of sex with him bent over desks, up against walls, I hate their aversion to kissing and fucking on camera. It would have made Riptide a very different show, but I don't think a worse one.

I have been showing pictures of Cody to everyone I see friends in a bit of a 'klsjdlfkjlskdfs LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL' kind of way, and mostly they go 'hm, he has a weird moustache' which is CLEARLY NOT THE ACCURATE AND CORRECT RESPONSE TO CODY. People are mad.

I think some people have some sort of protective glasses they put on when they see Cody that blocks out everything except his moustache. There is no other reason for these people to notice the moustache and miss the ZOMG so beautiful CODY. :):):)

That's so sad, I can't imagine how sad it must be if you look at Cody and don't notice CODY. Besides, the only *normal* thing to do upon seeing Cody's moustache is to completely re-evaluate your whole lifelong attitude towards moustaches.
